The Lock from Buyers Products helps deter trailer theft by filling the eye of your drawbar when not in use. It is zinc-plated for corrosion resistance and fits into all standard 2-1/2" to 3" lunette eyes. The lock's padlock hole easily accommodates most 1/2" diameter padlocks.

Male: Today we're taking a look at a lock for two and a half inch and three inch inner diameter Lunette Rings. The lock helps deter trailer theft by filling the eye of your jaw bar when not in use. It's made from a durable steel construction, and it is zinc plated to resist rust and corrosion. And again, it fits into all standard two and a half inch to three inch Lunette Rings, and that's the inner diameter measurement.Located right here you have the . Basically this is your padlock hole. This easily accommodates most half inch diameter padlocks.
Padlocks are sold separately and available at etrailer.com if you need one.Very simple installation. So I have a Lunette Ring here. What you would do is you would take the lower portion, fit it under. Take the upper portion, it's got a nice little handle there on top so you can easily maneuver it, place it on top. Place your padlock through that down there.
And it's got this guard around it too, so it makes cutting or sawing off the shackle, or through the shackle very difficult. And that's all there is to it. So you can see there how it does a great job at filling the inner portion of the Lunette Ring, and that's going to deter trailer theft.That's gonna do it for today's look at the lock for two and a half inch and three inch Lunette Rings.

good enough, works as advertised, for the price should discourage the casual thief or prankster. take a picture before storage as proof that you "did something" preventatively. one size fits all so don't expect it to look tailored.

This is the simplest and best possible way to add security to a disconnected trailer with a pintle hitch. Stows easy when not in use and is easy to use.
